A bit of whimsy today with these really fun hand soaps. I absolutely want one. Wonderful product by Imaginary Animal.

It’s amazing how the same approach can have such a different outcome. Here is the work of Roots. Using the same technique as Lisa Roden but with a finished product that has such a different aesthetic. To me it’s reminiscent of braille.

I really love these minimal interpretations of monolithic landscapes posted on Super Colossal.

As The Day Light points out, there is something soothing about these designs, with their the soft hues and suspended delicate lines.

DESIGN: Insitinsy

I was browsing through Behance and saw a thumbnail of the photos below. Instantly attracted by the colours I delved into these delicious textural works by Zeitguised. The description of this nanoscopic project left my simple brain a bit baffled, so I just went back to staring in childish wonder at these satisfyingly intricate tangible plastiky landscapes.

I posted Mini Eco’s work before and now I’m plugging her book, which I’m going to buy. I think everything she makes seems in essence to be simple and straight forward, but the finish on these creations is obviously handled with steely accuracy. She then photographs her lovely crafts with a light, bright colourful and clean touch, which always cheers me up.

DESIGN: Blades

Who doesn’t appreciate the functionality of a sharp pair of scissors. If I had the extra cash I think I would be most tempted to start a collection of scissors. And these would be the first purchases midst many more. Lovely stuff from Objects of Use.
